Niki Klasnic of Sugary Six Pack demos a move

Is anyone else having some serious whiplash with fall zipping by? We feel you. And with the holidays right around the corner, we're starting to feel like everything is moving in double time. With everything going on this time of the year, it can be hard to fit in a normal workout. Our go-to fix? A super quick, no-equipment-needed workout.

To create the perfect do-anywhere workout, we enlisted ACE-certified personal trainer Niki Klasnic of SugarySixPack. Klansic is known for making anywhere her gym. If you check out her Instagram you can see her working out in her driveway, hallway, kitchen, and even the airport.

This workout is perfect for when you're crunched on time or when you're traveling. "It's just under 19 minutes, and you'll definitely start sweating in no time," Klasnic says. It's a total body high-intensity interval training (HIIT) workout [workout] meaning your heart rate will go up, even though the interval seems short.

HIIT is a type of workout where you work incredibly hard for a short amount of time and then indulge in some well-deserved rest in between intervals. You should be giving each move an all-out effort. Think of a 10 on a 1 to 10 scale. Be sure to take the full amount of rest between each move. It might seem short, but stopping and starting your movements are a big part of how HIIT works. The breaks are important so that you can give 100% during the next exercise.

Here's how the workout is set up:

  • Drop lunge — 35 seconds
  • Burpee crunch — 35 seconds
  • Plank jack hop — 35 seconds
  • Step to jump squat — 35 seconds
  • Pop jacks — 35 seconds
  • Triceps press back — 35 seconds

Rest for 12 seconds in between each move. All six exercises counts as one round; do four rounds. If you need to, take a 30 to 60 second rest between rounds.

Klasnic recommends doing this workout two to three times a week for the best results.
